Dear Pit Masters and Tailgaters,

Welcome to the Bodagettabbq website!

We look forward to seeing you this April 16th and 17th for our second annual Bodagettabbq Contest. We’re hosting the event at Ag Heritage Park, just like last year. This year we are placing the Tailgaters in the large field adjacent to the Big Red Barn, and placing all of our Professional Teams beside the road leading to the Big Red Barn. Jiggy Piggy, our 2009 Grand Champion, was parked in that area. Lucky spots that are easily accessible.

To all of our contestants from last year, thank you for your support!
And you’ll know what I mean when I say we will NOT have the
same weather we had last year.

To all of you thinking about joining us this year, come on.
We have $10,000 in total prize money to be awarded.
We pay through 10th place in each KCBS category.
Grand Champion gets $2,000! Best Tailgater gets a
suitably impressive trophy presented to the team at
halftime during an Auburn University football game.
Ask last year’s champion how that felt to go on the field
during the Homecoming Game!

This year’s contest will be held on Auburn’s
A-Day Weekend. We’ll have plenty of
people, plenty of entertainment,
and plenty of activities around town
for an excellent weekend in Auburn!
